My name is Hans Groen. I studied graphic design in Amsterdam, which atypically led to me taking over my favourite bar in my home town in the Netherlands. A couple of years of music driven nightliving brought me back to doing what I love most. I consider my work as a graphic designer an ongoing journey. I passionately take on every new project as a chance to redefine aesthetics, without losing sight of function.
For the last 7 years I’ve worked for various agencies, as well as developing my craft as a freelance designer. During this time, I also enhanced my programming skills, enabling me to offer a more comprehensive range of design solutions, including state-of-the-art, truly bespoke websites. I currently live and work in Osnabrück, Germany.
Beauty shimmers in the smallest of things. In the obvious, the unexpected, the past and the present. All that surrounds us triggers new creative impulses. To design is to apply everything we see, feel or hear. It reflects everything we do, wish or strive for. Extraordinary or everyday states of grace.
